Separation

I discovered this sad and beautiful poem recently by W. S. Merwin. I think it would make a wonderful cross stitch piece if I can ever get my act together.

Separation

Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.


Finally chose a style I like best:

Playing around with some layouts with fading backgrounds...

And no background with fading lettering...

Sometimes if I can't make up my mind I just wait a while and eventually one option seems like the only option.
