One of my favorite things to do when I'm feeling down is to rewatch funny movies.  One of our favorites is Your Highness.  I've stitched a little tribute to Danny McBride and James Franco.

It's my first real finished cross stitch piece and I'm pleased with it, although it's not perfect.  I finally bought a frame for it last night.  It probably needs to be ironed a bit more but I wanted to get it up on the wall.

I designed the font myself based on the opening credits from the movie and it took a bit of work to get it right.  I thought about including a little something from the scene but I'm not too confident in my stitching skills just yet.

Frankenstein never scared me...

This is one one of my many someday projects.  I think I'll always have more ideas than finished projects.  Maybe that's a good thing.  Christopher Walken didn't actually say this, it was some comedian I forget the name of but I thought it was so funny.  I want to learn how to do embroidery in this style.  Probably need to re-do the wording but this is good enough for now while it's still just an idea.

Another little cross stitch idea I've been thinking about for a while.  This quote from Road to Perdition always makes us laugh when we get badly cooked food.  It would be funny to hang in the kitchen.  I don't know which way I like the letters in 'cookery' better.

I discovered this sad and beautiful poem recently by W. S. Merwin. I think it would make a wonderful cross stitch piece if I can ever get my act together.

Finally chose a style I like best:

Sometimes if I can't make up my mind I just wait a while and eventually one option seems like the only option.
